UGL Rail hosted Phoenix P-12 Community College students August 12th – 16th

UGL produces a number of waste products within the manufacturing facility. The students from Phoenix Community College were set the task of reviewing current waste streams, value add options, recycling options, income from waste products and waste segregation for their host company, UGL Rail.   Bill Gitsham General Manager, UGL Rail said that these students continued on with excellent waste audit solutions that were initiated by the Excellence group last year, many of which have been implemented with great success.  Bill and his staff members were delighted with the team efforts of the students and he found it very rewarding for all involved.

Cheryl Kennedy, Careers Development Practitioner from the school said “Once again thank you for giving our students a most fulfilling experience during the program again this year.”
