Ararat Secondary College hosted by AME Systems

Date: October 13th – 17th

The Current method for controlling dies at AME Systems is manually controlled and does not provide the ability to track dies and nominate their location. The students were told this causes wasted time searching for dies and ultimately $ losses for AME systems and dissatisfaction amongst the workers. The student’s solution to their challenge for tracking included, Bar Coding, RFID and the use of log books.  The students commented “This Excellence experience we found a little stressful, but once our Facilitator, Andrew got us back on track it was interesting, different and educational.”

Facilitator: Andrew Downard
