Combined student team in Maryborough hosted by True Foods
Date – September 7th – September 11th
Host – True Foods
School – Maryborough Education Centre and Highview College
Facilitators – Cameron Geddes and Shane Bicknell
The student group at True Foods were asked to utilise the problem solving tools they were taught on their Monday training day, to develop an effective and user friendly communication interface to broadcast information throughout the True Foods Site. According to their Mindshop mentor, Cameron, the students managed to communicate very well with him during their work experience week by uploading lots of their work on WhatsApp.
By all accounts it sounds like the students had an amazing time … out there in the “real” world of work!
The efforts by both schools in the selection of the students and ensuring that they were all able to attend the formal presentation in Bendigo on their final day was greatly appreciate.
Many thanks again to our fabulous Mindshop Facilitators, Cameron Geddes (who travelled twice to Maryborough during the week from NSW) and to Shane Bicknell who obviously was a popular person supplying KFC for the student’s lunch on the Thursday!
